***Manual Osteopathy is a whole body approach to healing and maintaining your body. A comprehensive history, intake form, assessments, and special tests will help me to identify the dysfunctions that occur within your body so proper facilitation of the body can be initiated. For example; you may present with right shoulder discomfort and pain, but what actually may be happening is that your liver is "stuck" and needs to be manipulated into ease to release the shoulder pain and restriction (pretty cool, right?), but it takes a full assessment to narrow down what may be the cause of your body's dysfunction. It's reassuring to know that everyone has a dysfunction within their body, not just you! Everyone can utilize Manual Osteopathy starting at maintenance from birth.
Unlike massage, you are not required to disrobe, but I do ask that you wear comfortable, moveable clothing so I can perform my best manual practice on you. You can expect your initial appointment to take approximately 60-75 minutes, followed by 30-60 minute follow ups as deemed necessary. Prices include GST and are subject to change upon annual review***
Manual Osteopathy is a combination of Osteoarticulations, Myofascial Remodelling, Craniosacral Therapy, Manual Lymph Therapy, & Visceral Manipulation. Everyone can receive MO treatments, some contraindications may require different techniques.
